I'm facing a lose/lose decision right now (according to Communicate!, my freshman speech textbook). If I leave my room right now, our cat will see me and freak out repeatedly again, as he's been doing all night since I returned from our three day krazyfest trip. He has had his face stuck in my eyeball all night, and I just now tricked him and disappeared into my room with the door closed. If I stay in here I'm safe from his now overbearing affection and yelling. But, outside my room are my pillow and a glass of water and the bathroom. These are all things I need before I sleep tonight.

I think only once have I ever slept in a bed with a animal or human and actually enjoyed it. I like personal space when I sleep. The first thirty minutes of body warmth/cuddling are nice. After that, I want to fall asleep, and it's nearly impossible to find a way to be comfortable as a group of two for me. Just once it worked.

The nicest thing you ever did for me was once, I woke up shivering cold just as the light was coming in. You got up to shut all the windows and brought and extra blanket back, then cuddled as close as possible under it whispering all morning. Yes, that was definately the nicest part of it all.

The radio says that a new supercomputer is going to run scenarios on the creation of the universe and tell us which one is right. I say that's short sighted. It is now 2001 and we have all the information in the world. This is how things came to be. No, no, this isn't our culture's creation myth, told to us by our god the computer. It's fact. It's science!

I went to krazyfest, and althogh it was a great weekend I'm sad that I didn't get to kick xchuckx's ass in the pit.

My AIM changed to gingermissippy for now. ginger@mosquitoinc.org
